Puerco pottery refers to Cibola White Ware, produced in the American Southwest during the Ancestral Puebloan period (roughly 1050-1225 AD). Puerco pottery is characterized by bold solid designs separated by thin parallel lines, often featuring matte black, brown, or reddish-brown pigments on a white to light gray surface. Rare.
