Height 24 1/2” Width 28”

Provenance: Provate collection, Tuscon, AZ

This masterpiece of the iconic landmark was painted on one of Sharp’s several visits to Hawaii when he wasn’t living in Taos, New Mexico. Powerful in its rendition of the “blowhole” its beauty cannot be overstated. Although as a member of the “Taos School” he wintered in Hawaii towards the end of his life, and was close to his friend Christian Rub who lived in Honolulu.
